North East Wiltshire, South Oxfordshire, West Berkshire & North Hampshire - an overview

Much of this part of the country is covered by the rolling North Wessex Downs but you’ll also find farmland, woodland, forest and river valleys. The River Thames and the ancient Ridgeway path wend their way across the area, which is well known for the prehistoric ancient white horses carved into the hillsides, rich chalk streams and World Heritage sites. There are bustling market towns such as Marlborough, Hungerford, Wallingford and Abingdon. Picturesque villages are dotted about, too many to mention, but Aldbourne, the Bedwyns, Kelmscott, the Baldons and Bucklebury are but a few. The area is bound by Reading, Newbury, Andover, Swindon, Burford and of course, Oxford…the city of dreaming spires itself. With the M4 crossing from east to west and the A34 from north to south, communications are well served.

Why do you Need a Property Finder?

Insider Market Knowledge
As property finders we are in very close contact with all the agents in our areas as they often hear in advance about properties that might be coming up for sale. How early often depends on the agent involved but being trusted by them, both frequently have prior knowledge of property coming onto the market. Private sellers also get in touch hoping they might have a client suitable for their house.
Professional Support
In the current market especially - with confusion abounding regarding pricing, good areas, bad areas etc - it makes sense for a buyer to have an adviser as well. Identifying properties that might be of interest and then viewing them, we will report our findings to you, which will save you hours of wasted time if not suitable. Once a suitable property comes up, our negotiating skills and knowledge of the market eases the transaction process. We can advise on property professionals such as solicitors, surveyors and builders and whilst the legal process is going through we will liaise between estate agents and solicitors right through until completion.
What our Clients Say
"We planned to move from London to the Country but had no real idea of how this would really happen.  However, after our initial meeting with Jo it became crystal clear. Jo is so professional, knowledgeable and most of all a great listener and managed to collate all our aspirations to find the right house for us.  We cannot thank her enough for the way Jo was able to assist by being the catalyst that made it all happen.  We would most highly recommend her for her sensitive and wise ways. Jo keeps the wheels turning in a gentle but firm manner as moving house is such a large project.  Jo shows such reassurance from her vast experience and remains constant throughout the whole process."
